Food Service Program During COVID-19 School Closure
During the 14-day school closure (10 school days) recently announced by the District, the Food Service team will continue to provide meals for our families who participate in the National School Lunch Program.
Pre-packaged meals will be available for pick-up at two District locations during the closure. The District will provide these meals to all students in need at no cost to our families. Below are examples of what a meal could look like:
Sample Breakfast Package: Assorted Cereal Pack, Juice Box, and Graham Crackers
Sample Lunch Package: Peanut Butter & Jelly, Assorted Fruit, & Water Bottle
(Gluten-Free and Peanut Free Options are available)
For the safety of our student and their families, all meals will comprise of prepackaged food items to accommodate any specific dietary needs. FIVE (5) Breakfast and FIVE (5) Lunch meals will be distributed per student every Monday (except over Spring Break). Meal distribution will continue on a weekly basis throughout the extent of the closure.
