Soccer Halfback

This book is called Soccer Halfback by Matt Christopher. It is about a kid named Jabber Morris who plays halfback for the team called the Nuggets. When he finds his bother's stolen wallet empty he has to give it back without making it seem like he stole it. When his brother breaks his leg Jabber is faced with the choice of quitting soccer to play football for his brother's team. In this book Jabber has to find the courage to tell his uncle and his brother the truth.

I liked this book because of how it made you feel like you were there. I would recommend this book to a friend who likes sports, suspense,and action. I also think girls would like this book,too.
